  Easy Question!

  I would like to know if it is possible to move a comp from one project to another. Lets say I have saved dog.aep with 5 comps in it and cat.aep with 2 comps in it. I want to bring 1 comp from dog and use it in cat. There has to be a super simple answer. Thanks for everyones help.

  Yes. Open Cat.aep and import Dog.aep. AE will import the project as a folder containing your comps from dog..duplicate the comps and so on.

  You can import 1 AEP into another. So, go to File > Import > File, and one of the options is AE Project. Just select it and click open and it will come in in it’s own folder.
