    DBC? I have no idea. TBC = “Time Base Corrector”. Higher end, professional, older analogue videotape decks had TBC’s built in to correct and match video signals that were out of whack.

    Mark, I thought of TBC also. It is in the context of “job duties”

    The line is “know how to operate DBC, D5 & HDCam SR decks”

    I am thinking it is Digital Beta Cam (ie DBC???)

    Your thinking is right. DBC is DIgital Betacam. I haven’t heard that term in a while though..

    We have a chain of coffee shops around the twin cities and they sell those oval stickers that say DBC for Dunn Bros Coffee. Maybe the employer wants him to make coffee?
