  Batch Export in FCP

  Ok, so I was wondering if there’s a way to batch export sequences in Final Cut Studio. I know you can batch export clips, but I had to put some clips together and color correct. I have like 20 sequences. Is there a way to export faster than doing them individually?

  I’m guessing you’re still using FCS 2. You have to upgrade to FCS 3 if you want to be able to utilize the batch export. You would also be able to run compressor in the background while working on FCP.

  You can do this in FCS2. Select the sequences you want in the browser, “File.. > Batch Export”. Specify settings and destination for the batch by hitting the “Settings…” button. Hit “Export”.
