  >> editing AVI format in FCP

  Hello guys, we used a Nikon D300 to shoot out project. Great quality. Should I use the native Nikon AVI (Apple OpenDML JPEG, 1280 x 720, Millions) to edit my sequence or should I change the format to a different codec like ProRess and then start my editing in FCP. I have about 14GB worth of footage. Please advise.

  Go to ProRes as fcp won’t understand AVI very well.
