  Transfer Raw Files to MacBook PRo

  Hello, just want to transfer P2 file, from a HPX 500 to my 10.5.8 MacBook Pro. I’m not got to edit just yet
  I want to transfer it and store it for now. What do I need to get these file on the Mac. I am using the USB Port to connect. It is not seeing the P2 Drives on the camera. Drivers ? Software ?

  I am not using Snow Lepord !

  YOu need to do a couple things.

  1) Download the P2 drivers…for the P2 card…at https://www.panasonic.com/p2

  2) After you do that, connect the camera via firewire or USB. The camera default is firewire, so doing this will be easiest.

  3) Press the MCR button to get the camera into THUMBNAIL mode. Then press and hold that button for 3-5 seconds, until you see 1394…when it connects, it will say 1394 CONNECT.

  If you want to use USB for this, you need to press MENU when in CAMERA mode, then choose menu option 9, and set the device mode from 1394 to USB. USB DEVICE.
