Multiple 3d layer import – auto position inline at 3px intervals
Hey there folks,
I’m trying to import a folder with 150 images from a medical CT-scan of my wrist.
What I’m trying to do is position them all inline at 3px intervals in 3d space so I can then use a blend mode to remove the black surrounding the images and hopefully what I’ll be left with what would be a faux 3D image of the white parts of the scan.
Is there any way to automate this procedure?Thanks for the help!

Go here and get the Offset Positioning script. Pop it in your AE Script’s folder, restart AE, and it will show up in the scripts window. I haven’t used this particular script but it looks straightforward enough.

Thanks man, that worked a treat. I just ran the script and adjusted the Z-axis offset. I now have 150 layers positioned perfectly!
