Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy batch capture

I have checked here but can not find the answer to a very basic question. Why can’t I batch capture a bunch of clips in one bin. After I highlite the clips the dialogue box shows all the clips but only one is highlighted as “READY” Since I have hundreds of clips to do this is very inconvenient. This is only my third FCP project but have been on Premier, Avid, Media 100, cmx for over 30 yrs and yet I am stumped.
    Thanks in advance.

Ralph – If the clips are offline in the browser (have a red line through them) then when you select batch capture you can check the box to capture all offline clips.

Perhaps your clips are not offline – if not, highlight them all and control-click and select ‘make offline’.

    Hope that helps.

    Ben
