Caché de nivel 2 (por CPU): 1 MB
    Memoria: 5,5 GB
    Velocidad del bus: 1.15 GHz

I know isn’t too much, by the moment. I’m working with a final cut 6.0.5, and I just will start a short with VIPER camera.
Is the intel system necessary in order to work with VIPER??, I can change the grafic target and other thinks… but I asking myself, is that right or I must change the computer… one day I have to do it, but can I wait a little more?? (you know… I need a lille money… that’s life in tecnology…)
Well thaks in advance.. if someone can anwers me… I’ll be so glad…
    thanks again

How are they recording the viper image? How will the viper data be delivered to you?

the Viper delivers over HDSDI to either SRW or to external recorders like S.two or Codex, you will not have issue editing on your system but however you will need to be able to capture the content if it is not being delivered as files.

What you do not mention is your storage,
The Viper workflow has one of the highest bandwidth needs when it comes to storage for the content since it records its content as uncompressed frames or files – especially when working with 1080 DPX files- that is not going to be done from firewire drives.
