  Problem with 24p 1080

  I’m working with with Final Cut Pro 6.04 and I’m encountering a problem with some footage.

  I am trying to work with and interview that was filmed in 1080i 24 p and the footage isn’t showing up in the capture window at all when I play it. When I play it in the camera it turns out fine though.

  I changed numerous settings trying to get the footage to capture but still nothing. Does any one know what I can do?

  Specs
  VTR DECK that I am capturing from is a Sony HVR M15U
  Editing on a Mac Book Pro 2.5 ghz Cour Duo, 4GB ram
  Final Cut Pro 6.0.4
