What if any difference is there between setting Shutter Phase at 0 vs. 360?

I’m experimenting with different Shutter Angle & Phase settings for animating stills for an SD doc. I’ll probably stick with default Shutter Angle of 180.

The only place Motion Blur really seems to make a difference for me is in reducing flicker when I’m doing motion control on text documents, like transcripts and news clippings. Not very noticeable (or needed) on still photo animations.

    Scans are single-layer TIFs.

AE7, FCP6, Kona LHe, BetaSP source video, uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2.

    Thanks.

Shutter Angle and Shutter Phase are designed to work as they would in real world cameras, with the exception that you can enter Shutter Angles in excess of 360
