  Creating NTSC DVD from PAL source footage

  Hi, I have a project that is going to be distributed on DVD in the USA, but we’ve shot and edited in PAL format as we’re UK based. I think I have created an NTSC DVD by simply changing the settings to NTSC in Compressor when compressing the file to MPEG-2 as I usually would.

  Then I used the NTSC setting in DVD studio and burnt a DVD – this seemed to work okay. The only problem is that I don’t really know how I can test it? Without having access to an American TV/DVD player, what can I do to be sure that the conversion has been effective.
