Or format the drive Fat32 so that both can read it. just know that there is a file size limit with that format…4GB

Windows reads and writes to NTFS. Mac can read it but can’t write to it without translation software (like Paragon).

FAT32, as Shane noted, is the only disk format that’s read/write for both PC and Mac. The 4GB file limitation, though, makes it impractical for most video situations.

Or you can look into networking the mac and pc. Check out the bottom of this article:

Mac Drive for the PC will enable it to read MacOS Extended.

Not free, but probably the best solution, as long as its your PC that needs to do this.

Mac Drive on the PC is the only solution that won’t hamstring you in one way or another. It let’s you read and write on both platforms at all file sizes. All other solutions have one or more limitations.

Get “MacDrive” for your PC, this will allow it to see video files made in MacOS.

    Cheers
