I just upgraded from ver 5 to 6. I open an existing project & my nested audio clips are giving me a red line. Those clips didn’t do that in ver5. Is a setting off in FCP or Kona? New projects give me the same issue. Anything more than 6 tracks needs to be rendered.

Real-time audio mixing is set to 12 tracks & audio playback is on low.
Sequence, project, imported & captured audio are all set to 48. I have a Kona LHe and I upgraded that software too (ver 2 to ver 6)

    Thanks,
    -dMR

    hey, Donato.

what’s happened is that because of the upgrade, your preferences have been re-set.

the relevant one in this case is the number of real-time audio tracks FCP will play back.
    (User prefs, front page)
cant believe that’s still set at 8.
you can probably quadruple that with no problem,
but if that seems to severe, at least double it.

    oh, i forgot..

nesting a sequence will DOUBLE the amount of audio track RT needed.
