  anyone got an avid? need a favor

  I’ve received some stock footage from the CBC. It’s in “Avid mpeg-imx” format.

  I discover they don’t provide that codec in the free downloads unless you own an Avid “because of licensing issues.” Naturally.

  Can I get anyone to help me out and convert the footage to something more common? I promise it will be worth it – get a special thanks in the credits on a rad project 😉 It’s just over 1 minute worth in SD.

  AVID Media Composer has a trial version. Have you tried that?
