  SXS XDCAM import error after 90%

  Guys:
  while trying to import with XDCAM transfer tools (v2.10) thru FCP 6.0.6..im lateset MACBK PRO after 90% of transfer there is an error window prompt saying: “Import Error condition failure-unexpected error”..

  Tried on other machine (macbkpr/macpro)..deleted the clip recorded new also the same..in different 4mat too..is the card faulty. it does show 15.5 GB capacity as it is 16gb sony SXS card..

  OK,
  it sounds as if your shooter ran the file over the capacity of the card, (My 16G cards only show 15.3G available after formating) and if they did you are screwed, since the camera was recording when capacity was reached, there is no closure on the file and you may not be able to recover your content without some assistance from some hardware- the sony USB reader might be able to allow you access to the file, but it may require that play the file from the camera and capture into your computer.
