  ae_exporting widescreen

  I m having trouble exporting wide screen pal. composition is set 16:9, export settings are set to 16:9, letter box. When i export it comes out as 4:3 with squashed pixels. Is this the only way of viewing widescreen on a computer monitor? Therefore is it possible to export some version for the computer and another for the tv once the project is already created as widescreen?

  (have already read most of the help on widescreen and still a little unclear – sorry if this post is a bit repetitive with all its predecessors)

  If your comp is 16:9, then you shouldn’t export it as letterbox-ed. Just export as 16:9.

  And is your 16:9 anamorphic or square pixels? If it’s square pixels, then it should look fine on your computer.

  For a clearer answer, you’ll need to provide the eact comp settings that you have, from the screen size to the PAR.
