Audio Off Sync
Hi,
For some reason, my audio is off sync in various places during one sequence. I exported the audio file and then reimported it, so I can boost my audio, but I can’t see how off the sound is. I was able to reconnect most of the sound, but the beginning of the sequence is still off. Is there a way to reconnect the sound, without trying to match the person mouth to the audio, if I exported the audio track?

I’m not sure why your sync is off. Many things can contributr to that/ But, to get your audio louder, simply copy the audio tracks in your sequence and put the copy below the original ones on your timeline. Link them together and you should be good to go.

That’s not a good workflow and it’s very inefficient, and John’s technique isn’t really the best either. Sorry John…
The best and most efficient way to raise the level is to use the “Gain” filter, which you find at Effects>>Audio Filters>>Final Cut Pro>>Gain. YOu drop it on your audio track, double click the track to load it in the viewer, and you will see a single slider in the filter tab that allows you to raise the level much higher than you could ever want.

Thanks a lot! Since I already chopped up my audio track (that I exported and reimported), is there any way to take the original audio track and match it to the cuts I already made?
