I’m creating batch traces from large tiffs using Bridge/Illustrator CS3. Illustrator saves them with a canvas from fixed profiles which means that in After Effects I can’t see the whole image. Doesn’t seem to be any setting in AE to ignore the canvas setting.

    Anyone know a way?

Well, I’ve played away and discovered a workaround. By setting the size of the document in the batch trace settings of Bridge to be larger than your largest raster the files show full size in AE.

Not terribly intuitive, but then again, who ever accused Adobe of making software that’s terribly intuitive.
