  Settings are corrupt no backup

  “Settings are corrupt no backup”
  This is the message I get when using “FCP Rescue” to backup my settings. I just re-installed FCP 5.0 after losing my system drive, so it is a clean install, however it is not remebering my settings when I exit the program. I can’t remember where these setting are saved either. Any idea why my user pref. would be corrupt?
