When I transcribe my interview footage in Final Cut Pro I give all my subclips a very detailed name and log note. I would like to export all the text in the “Name” and “Log Note” columns in my FCP Browser and copy that text into a word document. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks for you help

You could try exporting a batch list, opening the excel file and posting those two columns into a document. That should work.

    Judy,

I would try selecting each bit of text and copying and pasting. Beyond that, dunno…

    Have a wonderful day.

Dear Josh, THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRED SOLUTION to my difficulties with “transcribing” interview Sound Bites! It worked and I’m thrilled! I shall have to help some other poor soul on Creative Cow to even up the karma. Thanks so much! Judy
