    Hello,
I’m trying to put some metadata in a quicktime clip. (I want to put some logging infos in my quicktime and not in my FCP project.
When i’m using FCP the infos i’m wrinting on my clips stays inside my fcp project and is not apply on my QT source.
    First – Is it possible?
    second _ how?
    Third – thank you

Metadata in Adobe CS4 apps works that way, but Apple products don’t work that way, at least not yet.

Automatic Duck might work for you. There is an Automatic Duck Forum right here on the Creative Cow, with owner Wes Plate answering questions 24/7. I’d head straight there if I were you…

Did you find a solution to this?

I notice that if I add metadata during log and transfer/capture, it stays with the Quicktime mov file, but if I want to change that data, I can’t. Did you figure this out w/o having to re-ingest?
