    Hoping someone can help.
I’m new to FCP. I created a DVD of some video we shot at our university but we need to add a live web link to the DVD so anyone viewing the video on their computer can go directly to our web site. Is there a way to add a live web link on the DVD? Do I do this through DVD Studio Pro?
    I’m using FCP ver 6.0.6
Thanks for any tips and/or links showing how to do this.

This should be in the DVDSP forum vs. FCP.

Yes you can do it with DVD@ccess.

It is NEVER recommended that it be used. There is software that has to be turned on in QT for Macs. For PCs software has to be installed. In short it doesn’t work very well on PCs. Nobody is using this feature anymore, Hollywood titles tried it for a while (with other software, which has been discontinued) but they stopped used it several years back.

I’ve used this for corporate clients. By putting the link on it’s own menu page, if the link doesn’t automatically link the viewer to the web page, then the background image of the menu has the web address typed in inviting the viewer to visit the site.

I think you can even use the “jump to” instruction from the end of the track to get to the access link, taking the viewer automatically to the web page after the dvd ends. (on compatible computers)
