    Hi

Im a little confused, when setting up a general project, for example a DV Pal Anamorphic project, what is the difference between these two? As the size of the frame changes when I change the settings.

Im not sure what to do to get the corrrect AR on a monitor

You don’t have to set the pixel dimensions manually, nor should you set them. Always use the appropriate Easy Setup when beginning any new project in FCP. Not only does that make it simple, it makes it foolproof. I would advise your to watch the following brief tutorial that explains simply and precisely how to begin projects in FCP.

If you follow the tips in the tutorial every time you begin a new project you should never have any issues.

    Hey

Thanks again, one last question, as well as video if I had a graphic with the wrong pixel ratio, does FCP automatically correct the problem?

Well, the answer yes and no. FCP does, but it doesn’t always get it right, so sometimes, but not often, you might have to load your graphic into the viewer (by double-clicking on it), and then adjust the “Distort” parameter in the Motion Tab.
