My footage is DVPRO HD and I am planing to do all compositing in After Effects and render out ProRes files. I have few questions.
    1) Should I render ProRes HQ is that necessary?
    2) I have lots of backgrounds with gradients to comp. I am using Pro Rs to avoid bending. What will happen when I play out my ProRes files/timeline from FCP back to DVC PRO Hd tape. Am i going to see gradient bending on the tape?
    3) What’s best workflow to create SD version from this HD master. Should I re-render everything from After effects as a SD or should I just drop HD sequence to SD in FCP.

    Thanks in advance.
