Compressor asking about Batch Monitor.app
Compressor has stopped working on my Mac 5. I am using FCP 6. I am trying to make a DVD-compliant m2v file and audio file. When I click Submit, it asks me if I want the application Batch Monitor.app to accept incoming network connections. It doesn’t matter if I select Allow or Deny; it keeps asking me over and over and never renders the .mov. This has happened before but I only had to select Allow once and it would proceed to export my files. Now it won’t do anything. Any ideas?

Try trashing Compressor’s prefs.

They should be in Library > Preferences > com.apple.compressor.Compressor.plist

Where do I find the Preferences? I don’t see them in a folder anywhere, only on the menu list. I remember having to do this for the Media 100 from time to time.
