I can use the < [ > key to bring a layer or group of layers immediately to the CTI in the timeline with their in points aligned to the CTI. But a lot of times I want to bring a group of layers to the CTI and keep them arranged as they were (i.e. offset). Is that possible with a shortcut. I’ve just been dragging the group to the place I want it.

not that i know of…. i’m not sure how ae would know which layer’s in point it was supposed to line up with the cti, and have the others position themselve relative to that….

you can, however, choose several layers with varying inpoints and hold the shift key as you drag them to snap the inpoint of one layer to the current time, keeping the others relative.
