  Duration of IN – OUT ???

  I cant believe im asking this after using FCP for years but:

  where did the In – Out duration indicator go?

  i.e. if I mark an In point, and an Out point, it should tell me how long it is between those two points.

  At the moment, i can only get this if i cut the clip down and double click it.

  I am positive i have had this feature and taken it for granted for years, which is why for some reason now when i cant find it, i have no idea where its gone.

  You have the duration in the upper-left corner of the Canvas and Viewer windows.

  god i worked it out, its because i change my screen layout and was just looking in the wrong corner, got so confused. Moron.
