Hello all and thank you in advance for your response(s).

My video is twitching after I run it thru the log and transfer on FCP. In the preview window of the log and transfer it plays fine but not the final result. The files are mt2s files. I also tried checking and unchecking the the advanced pulldown option. Also switched between the ProRes and the Apple Intermediate codecs to no avail. 🙁

You might try exporting them using mpegstreamclip.

Thanks. We actually got it to work by using iMovie ’09. File–>Import–>Camera Archive. Then just chose the whole BDMV folder. Crazy how iMovie worked and Final Cut didn’t.

You can bring the m2ts files to FC without transcoding:

    https://www.clipwrap.com/overview.php

It only rewrap the clip as QT Movie. No generation lost.

It does not support .m2ts. Only .m2t at the moment.
