  Add Credits from File

  I have a large batch of music videos that I need to add copyright info to (title, artist, record label, distributor). Is there a way that I can put all of that info into, say, an excel spreadsheet and have either FCP or Compressor automatically add the text?

  Checkout this tool for Motion. I think it does what you need. From their website, “Traditionally, creating multiple graphics has involved manually changing the text contents in Motion and saving each version to a separate file. AutoMotion radically accelerates this task by merging text data with Motion templates to create multiple versions in seconds.”
