    Hi,

I have used quicktime to export a 16:9 AVI file using Apple Animation for editing in FCP. However when I import the file into a new project in the FCP time line, it is streched to 4:3 while if you open it in quicktime it plays at 16:9 Any ideas on how to solve this?

    Thanks,

    Miguel

Did you set the anamorphic check mark in the browser for the imported clip?

    All the best,

    Tom

FCP will work better with a .mov quicktime, not an AVI file.
