  External Drive Problem

  I’m having a problem with a couple of Lacie 1Tb external drives.

  The drives work fine on my Intel MacBook Pro and my Quad G5 Mac Pro using the firewire 800 port. However when connected to my Intel iMac they will only work with the 400 port.

  Any ideas?

  and anything else works with that FW 800 port on the iMac?
