  Duration of work area?

  Can’t seem to find this in the archives anywhere?

  I want to know the duration of my work area. Simple math is fine but will AE flat out tell me? Do I really have to create a movie to find this info out?

  If I’m understanding your question correctly:

  go to Composition/Composition Settings/Duration

  If your info palette is open, and you change the work area length, it will appear in the info palette, updating as you change it.

  Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to see the work area length without changing it first.

  “Work area duration”, not “comp length”.
