  Water drops fx

  Hello everyone, I’m new here.. 🙂

  I just wanted to ask you how do you create a water drops effect in after effects.

  Please be specific.

  Water coming down from top of frame?
  Water coming from behind camera onto frame?
  Big teardrop-shaped drops?
  Tiny drops seen as a sheet of rain?
  Drops hitting water?
  Drops hitting and bouncing off?
  Circular ripples in water?

  have you looked at cc rain and cc drizzle in the simulation effects?

  if you don’t see them, look on your ae install disc for a folder called cycore fx in the third party effects folder and run the installer. they are free, fully functional effects.

  you might also want to install keylight and color finess while your at it.
