I’m not sure if anyone has encountered this with the Spill Suppressor Plugin in Final Cut but when I apply it, even with a value of 0, it makes all the green or blue areas black.

Does anybody know any way to do spill suppression within Final Cut without running into this issue? This in my opinion is the major thing lacking when it comes to keying in Final Cut.

We’re running FCS2 and I was also wondering if perhaps there was an After Effects spill suppressor plugin compatible with Final Cut maybe. I realize there’s commercial solutions out there and you are welcome to let me know what you’re using but would prefer something that’s either cheap or free. Thanks.

Thanks for the input, I honestly have never liked Motion. If I was going to do it in an external application, I would much prefer doing it in After Effects. My whole goal is to try and keep it within Final Cut if possible but thank you for your input.

I cant seem to get spill suppressor to function properly either, so I resorted to using the mask choker in addition to a bit more enhance in the keyer.

    Works ok, not great.

    Good Day
