  XDCAM EX codec

  I have been trying to add the Sony XDCAM EX codec to my FCP system (FCP 6 latest) by downloading drivers, transfer plugins, etc from Sony website without any success. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong or what I need to do?

  it works

  there is the other method using XDCAM transfer software

  the log and trasfer plugin is far easier

  do be aware however it isn’t that well written in my opinion as it cannot rebatch log and transfer for offline style workflows, like P2 or RED can
