    Finally sick of moving my right hand off the mouse to use Shift + L to link/unlink a/v elements of the same clip, I attempted to remap that command to something on the left side of the keyboard.

    Looks very intuitive – I unlocked the set, create a new set, and found unused key combos to make this happen.

    But it didn’t happen. No matter what key combos I use (or even single keys) it does not do what it is supposed to. Shift + L still works, however, even though the keyboard remapping window no longer has it listed as the combo for syncing.

    Bug? Thoughts? On newest version of FCP with updated Leopard OS.

    First, did you save your custom keyboard setting? Second, if you have already saved the custom layout, you have to go back up to the tools menu, keyboard layouts, and then load your custom layout.
