Can anyone suggest any Flash or HDD video cameras that the files will not have to be rendered after they are imported into FCP. I want to be able to shoot video in the field, transfer it to the Mac and then edit in FCP without rendering. Thanks!

Any of the Panasonic P2 cameras will to what you want. And also cameras like the HMC150. Cameras like the HMC150 need the latest version of FCP. Avoiding rendering has a lot to do with your initial sequence settings. If they are off, FCP will want to render. Drag a clip into a new empty sequence and let FCP select the proper settings.
