  • Batch XDCAM XMF support in FCP?

Hi guys, maybe you can help me with this one. I’ve recently been given some work that was shot on a Sony XDCAM EX and a JVC GY-HD111E, not an ideal combination. Tape and solid state, huh? Now the Sony camera operator was using FCP on location and imported the 800 or so clips to his Mac and gave them to me as he didn’t have enough cards. Thats all fair and well, but those exported .mov clip are useless to me as they will not work inside Premiere Pro which is what i have already started editing on. Although, i have a Mac i’ve Sony’s XDCAM Transfer to get the transfer to XMF support inside FCP. The problem is i have about 10 folders here with clips from the shoot in them, and instead of going clip by clip converting 800 odd clips to .xmf files to use in Premiere, i wondered IF there was a batch export option i can use instead?

Select clips and File > batch Export.
