  How to make something glow

  I was wondering how to make one object glow in final cut pro. I know how to make the entire image glow, now I need to know how to pin point an exact object. Can anyone help?

  You need to isolate that object so the effect only affects to it.
  FC offers some options to build Masks or you can create them with Photoshop.

  There’s a glow filter in Joe’s filters which has an eydropper so you can sample any color which might work. Then use a garbage matte to get rid of other things with that color and put that over a copy of the original footage. It’s a great filter.
