  Day for NIGHT FX

  Hello!

  I am working with final cut pro 5.1.4

  I have shot all the footage for my film during the daytime, so I can post effect the footage as night time to keep the night sequences even.

  I have used the 3 way colour corrector, which is good, however is there anything else i can use to create a more convincing night look? Should I import my footage to AFTER FX? Whats the best way?

  Since you have AE I’d check out this very good tutorial for day for night at Videocopilot.net

  A big thing w/day for night though is shooting w/the effect in mind because much of the ability to sell the effect comes from how it was shot.

  Nattress has a day for night setting in his film effects plugins.
