  • Looking for a way to distort the tail of a stroke

I’ve gone through all the distort effects in after effects 6.5, but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I created a mask that whirls around the screen on a white solid. Then I put a stroke on the mask and animated it so it would draw onto and then off the screen. I was able to change the size so it looks like it’s coming toward the viewer. But I’d like it to look like it has a tail, rather than have it consistently be the same size as it disappears. I hope I’m explaining what I want well enough. Any ideas? Thanks.
