  Anybody running a SSD boot drive with FCP?

  All,

  Saw the application load times were pretty good here- CS3 in 5 seconds!

  Wondered if anybody had tried it with FCP?

  Who would not want one, the problem is at they are just WAY WAY WAY to expensive right now.

  Sure the applications may launch a little faster but overall I don’t think that it would make that big of a difference for FCP. FCP relies heavily on the processor ram and media drive speed. So unless you had the money to do something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96dWOEa4Djs all your going to get is a little faster launch time.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
  Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
