I’m needing to buy a tape deck to import footage from my guys, they shoot with the Canon XHA1, I’ve tried using my Sony HVR-A1U camera to import, but this thing drops out like crazy, I have the XDCAM EX and didn’t want to spend tons of money, but I guess i’mgoing to have to by a good tape deck, being I have 10 pro staff guys running through lots of tapes. Any Ideas, I dont want to buy one and have the same issue that I’m having with the Sony Camera.

Canon does not make a tape deck. They recommend that you use the camera. That way, you’ll destroy the tape transport and buy more cameras. Really a sad way to do business.
