First of all, I have no relationship with this company and I’m NOT getting paid to say this. However, when I see something that’s helpful, I want to tell people. That’s it.

I’m putting together a presentation (Keynote) for a talk I’m doing at NAB, and I was stumped.
I didn’t want the same old pie charts and graphs. I was tired of the same old GRFX. Then, by chance, I looked to my left on the cow, and I saw the ad for “Crowd Control”, pre keyed, alpha stock footage.

I figured what the heck, it’s worth a click! Well, I have to tell you, they are definitely onto something.
If you’re looking for a dead simple way of integrating stock images into a presentation, a pitch reel, or corporate video, this website is worth a look. Sure, this is not a new idea, but the execution on this site raises it head and shoulders above anything else out there. It’s organized with a “creative mind” in mind.
It’s easy to find what you need, browse what you think you might need, and download what you want to buy. Most importantly, the actors have been directed to give you looks, expressions, and emotions that can tie in easily with just about any story you’re trying to tell.

Browsing the site gave me the creative inspiration to take my presentation to the next level. My only criticism is that they don’t have an Elvis impersonator. Hey, it’s VEGAS! How can you do a presentation in Vegas and not reference “The King”?

I’m intrigued, can you elaborate on how you used the clips, and did the available clips drive your placement of them, or did you find everything you were looking for? I saw the site but didn’t see any clips that had dialog, so, did you pick stuff where they are pantomiming something, or what?

No dialogue. That’s the beauty of it. These clips convey an emotion or a thought WITHOUT
words. Each clip I found applies to a specific concept that I’m looking to reinforce visually.
It’s less “pantomime” and more “movie scene”.

yes, the clips I found influenced the design of the slide and the overall presentation.

The announcer on their demo sounds familiar…
OK, no wonder, it’s Aharon Rabinowitz of Creative Cow fame! Nice.
