  Sequence Settings. Is there a way to…..

  get your sequence settings to matchup with the settings of your source QT files Automatically?

  I’m trying to setup a basic NTSC sequence and for my timeline keeps coming up red.

  Basic DV/NTSC from compressor. Everything looks right but it keeps coming up redbar.

  FCP 6 does this….

  But if your Quicktime files are made correctly, all you have to do is select the DV NTSC EASY SETUP and you should be fine.

  Use the EASY SETUPS. Do not try to set up all the options manually.

  Well, if you have FCP 5.0 or 5.1, there is a trick you can use…

  That was exceptionally useful. I’ve got one system running 6 and one running 5, and it bugs me when I’m on 5 and expect 6. Though Steve’s one word answer was ‘an’ answer, I really appreciate you taking the time to tag somethin on Shane.
