  AVI getting cutoff in FCP/QT

  Hi there,

  I’ve exported a ton of AVIs with alpha channels out of FCP.

  All play back fine in QT and FCP, except a few longer ones that are over 4 gb.

  For some reason these large files are only play back partially in FCP and QT. I know that the information is there (because of the large file size), but not sure why it’s cutting off.

  Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

  Hi Danny,
  The 4GB size is an historical limitation of AVI files.
  Nothing to do about.
