  Importing footage from Sony SR-11, using a local disk

  Hi friendz,
  I’m trying to bypass long import times from Sony HDR SR-11 (AVCHD) via USB,
  so I copied the content of the camera’s drive to my hard drive.
  I kept the original directory structure, copied the index files etc.
  However, FCP 6.0.5 keeps giving me the “Unsupported media / invalid directory structure” error.

  I went through this before and it worked fine, but on that time I copied EVERYTHING
  from the camera’s HDD to my drive. Now, I only selected the clips I want to import.
  How deep should the “local” directory structure be ? Go dowm from the AVCHD folder ?

  I go through this process every time I shoot on XDcam cameras or P2’s, but this
  camcorder drives me nuts.

  Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
