So there I am, exporting on QT Conversion to Windows Media files. I have about 29 sets of multiple clips and am on #18 when I decide to open up a “done” WM clip and check it.
#1. the clips graphics, the interviewees names are on them, are unrendered. I had rendered them and they are rendered on the timeline. I noticed when QT Conversion was saving it that they appeared unrenedered but had seen it happen before when going to .mov and those had come out OK. Not happening on the WM clips.

#2 Now the entire projects’ timelines are completely static when I play them in FCP. The audio runs perfectly but the timeline video doesn’t move. I can open other projects and they work fine, but this project is static.

This is a problem because I am supposed to give the clips to my client in WM and .mov tomorrow.

Does anyone know what I have inadvertently done?

    Help is MUCH appreciated.

I drug the QT file into Compressor and the window opened up. When I went into the settings, I didn’t see any that say WMV. Is WMV designated by another name?

I took the QT file and imported it into a new project and then tried to make a WMV file. This time the graphics came out rendered, but only one and a half of the 4 clips I had in the OT file appeared in the new WMV file.

Also, how do I unfreeze my timeline?
