  FCP and Compressor

  I need to export several different pieces of video from FCP to compressor, but compressor seems to lock up FCP while it’s open.
  I just want to be able to queue several items; I know there’s a way to do this, I just can’t figure out how.

  From FCP export a reference or self-contained movie of each piece. Then, open Compressor and drag them in. This way FCP is not involved while Compressor is working.
