“easy setup” and export options in FCE for making stop motion
I hate unclear posts, so i’ll try not to write one…
-I am using Final Cut EXPRESS (not pro, but there doesn’t seem to be a separate forum for express)
-I’m making short stop motion films by importing series of photographs from a digital still camera into FCE, then exporting them back out as clips. once i have all my clips as separate files, i import them back into a new project file in FCE, add music and titles and then export out my final product.
-The movie files I’m ending up with are all stupidly small compared to the huge size of the photos i’m using, but i can’t figure out how to get FCE to make bigger files for me.
-I’ve tried a bunch of different “easy setup” settings and exported in just about every imaginable configuration, but am still not getting nice big movies.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me which Easy Setup configuration I should use for this and what kind of export option will get me the best quality movie files?
Thanks,
Davidps. if you’re interested, an example of a little project I did last week can be seen here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU6VV_hPzC4
